☑ Working at a Canadian non-profit
☑ Don't have an AI policy in place
☑ Looking for an ethical way forward on your Artificial Intelligence strategy and policies.
What this workshop is not:

A recorded video - the sessions are live only
-
A guide to which AI programs to choose in your organisation (though you'll find out more about how to make these decisions)
-
Ways to implement AI agents or other tools into your workplace
-
A fully completed AI policy (but we do offer that - check it out turnkey AI Policy package here.).
If you're a non-profit, you'll have policies in place for HR, finances, and conflicts of interest. If you don't have an equally robust AI policy in place yet, you're facing some real risks:
The rise of BYOAI (Bring Your Own AI) means your team is likely using personal accounts to draft donor appeals, summarize meeting notes, or analyze spreadsheets. On the surface, it can look like an efficiency win.
But beneath, it’s a governance nightmare. When staff BYOAI your organization loses control over:
-
Data Sovereignty: Where is that sensitive donor data being stored?
-
Institutional Memory: If a staff member leaves, so does their prompt history and "trained" workflows.
-
Legal Compliance: Are you inadvertently violating privacy laws or grant requirements?
