The course runs over 7 weeks, with a blend of independent learning and live virtual sessions. Each week, participants receive 2 hours’ worth of reading materials, exercises, and downloadable tools to complete before the live session. We meet once a week online for an engaging 120 minute session focused on key concepts, peer exchange, and case-based learning to help apply new skills directly to real-world situations.

This course is not about learning technical tools like Excel, budgeting software, or project management platforms. It’s also not a once-off training to fix a single issue like time management or giving feedback. This course is designed for you if you're a middle manager in a nonprofit, navigating between frontline teams and senior leadership, and want practical tools to lead with more confidence, clarity, and intention. Yes, we encourage this. We offer a 5% group discount if two or more people from the same organization attend the course. If several people from the same organization want to attend, we also offer in-house training where we bring our cohort programs directly to your organization, tailoring the content and format to fit your team’s unique context and goals (contact us for more information)

We limit our courses to 12 students for optimum learning. Students on the waitlist will be contacted if we obtain a vacancy in the course prior to the start of classes.
